Welcome to SohozNikah Matrimony(sohoznikah.com), a trusted matrimonial platform exclusively designed for Bangladeshi Muslims worldwide. By registering or using our website, you agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”). Please read these terms carefully before proceeding.

1. Eligibility

To register and use sohoznikah.com, users must:

• Be Muslim by faith, categorized under any of the following:

• General Muslims
• Practicing Muslims
• Muslims striving to become practicing
  • Be of Bangladeshi origin, whether living in Bangladesh or abroad.
  • Be of legal marriageable ageaccording to Bangladeshi law (21+ for males, 18+ for females).
  • Be seeking a lawful Islamic marriage; casual dating or non-marital intentions are strictly prohibited.
  • Have no legal restrictions preventing them from entering into a valid marriage contract.

2. Account Registration and Biodata Requirement

• Users must register with a valid email addressand complete OTP verification.
• Upon verification, users gain access to the dashboard and must create a biodata, which is required to access platform features.
• Each user may only have one biodata. Multiple accounts or false profiles are subject to removal.
• Users can edit, update, and control the privacy (public/private) of their biodata.

3. Biodata Approval Criteria

Biodata will be reviewed and approved only if the following conditions are fulfilled:

1. The user must identify as a Muslim.
2. Males must be at least 21 years old, and females at least 18 years old.
3. A guardian’s mobile number(e.g., father, mother, or elder relative) must be provided. Friends’ or personal numbers are not accepted in the guardian’s information field.
4. The biodata must be written entirely in Unicode Banglaor English. Writing Bangla with English letters will not be accepted.
5. Information about education, profession, and family backgroundmust be accurate and complete.
6. The user must agree that all submitted information is truthful and not misleading.

4. User Pledge Before Biodata Submission

Before submitting a biodata, every user must affirm the following:

• I have carefully read the biodata approval criteria and understand the responsibilities involved.
• I confirm that I am using this platform solely for the purpose of lawful Islamic marriage.
• I declare that all the information I have provided is true, and I take full responsibility — both religious and legal — for its accuracy.

5. Token-Based System & Refund Policy

• Tokens are required to send proposalsor contact requests to other users.
• Tokens must be purchased in advance.
• If a proposal is rejectedor expires, the used token is refunded.
• If a contact request is accepted, the guardian’s mobile numberwill be shared. Direct communication between users is not allowed.
• A monetary refundis available only if the user deletes their biodata. Refunds are calculated based on unused tokens and their purchase history.
• Tokens used in accepted proposals or contact requests are non-refundable.

6. User Responsibilities and Restrictions

By using sohoznikah.com, you agree that you will not:

• Use the platform for any commercial or promotional purpose.
• Copy, screenshot, or share any user content or biodata externally or on social media.
• Provide false information, impersonate another person, or create multiple accounts.
• Attempt to bypass the token system or communicate outside the allowed process.

Violation of these rules may lead to suspension or permanent removal of the user account.

7. Privacy and Data Use

• We do not share your informationwith third parties for marketing or external use.
• For legal and security purposes, we may retain user data for a limited time.
• All data is handled in compliance with applicable laws and best practices for user protection.

8. Intellectual Property and Legal Rights

• All content, design, branding, logos, and data on sohoznikah.com are intellectual propertyof the platform.
• Any unauthorized use, distribution, or modificationof our materials for commercial, harmful, or misleading purposes is strictly prohibited.
• We reserve the right to take legal actionagainst anyone who infringes on our content or misuses our platform in violation of trademark or copyright law.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

• com serves only as a facilitator of matchmakingand does not guarantee any specific result or marriage.
• We are not responsible for offline interactions, rejected proposals, or any post-contact consequences.
• We do not verify each user’s claim independently and recommend due diligence before further communication.
• In no case shall our liability exceed the total amount you have paid in tokens over the past 6 months.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

• This agreement is governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
• Any disputes arising from the use of the site will be resolved exclusively in Bangladeshi courts.

11. Modification of Terms

We may update or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
